In preparation for starting the wing wiring, I needed to get some supplies. I picked up an assortment of connectors, rubber grommets, and bushings. Steinair seems to have the best prices on most of this stuff, but I also got a lot of it from B & B Aircraft Supply. It is a small local place in Gardner, Kansas (near KC).

I also managed to get a steal on some RG-400 from Ebay. I bought 50 feet for 99 cents a foot...it usually costs at least $1.50 or $2.00 a foot elsewhere.

I spent a lot of time looking at alternative solutions for lights, but I never seemed to find anything that I liked. Given that nobody but Whelan makes a nice combo tail position/strobe unit, I ended up going with Vans system 6. I originally bought some used units from Wentworth Salvage, but I ended up sending them back as they really seemed like junk.
